Thoughts: Summer this year was very hot and humid so I was in need a lighter moisturizer instead of my usual one. I was excited to try this because of the hyaluronic acid in it and anything Neutrogena is marketed for sensitive skin so, it was sold on me straight away. The product comes in a box, which I have since thrown away. On it, it says this was made in Korea. Ok, good, I thought. As soon as I opened the jar, the strong fragrance hit me. It doesn’t smell bad but the smell is very strong, like putting a bottle of Downy fabric conditioner close to your nose strong. I still used this up, people. It performs ok enough for what it is. It works better for me during the day because it’s so light and works well under makeup on a regular day. However, this was much too light for the evening. I like sealing my skincare with something that doesn’t evaporate right away. Also, the hydration doesn’t last all day. I had to bring facial mists with me whenever I used this moisturizer.
Notes: For a brand that usually caters to people with sensitive skin and have products with strong research behind their conception, this is too heavily fragranced. Despite this being ‘clean-smelling’, it’s a good thing I didn’t develop any allergies due to the fragrance. It was really just too much for me and I just wanted to finish it and get it over with. This worked nice enough, but I won’t repurchase.
