After yesterday's empties post, I really had to follow up with my Skincare Favorites because...well...half of my favorite skincare had gone into my Empties list! I really loved most of them save for one item. Do head over to that post if you haven't already.
Anyway, what I have here is what's left of what I used last June. I still use these in my July routine because they work so well together. A good skincare product rotation is like a good team. They need to work well together to succeed!
Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Floral Toner
A very nice smelling, soothing toner mist that somehow tightens the skin and makes it firm and bouncy! It must be the polyphenols in this. I have yet to write a dedicated review to this floral toner, but I have loved and used this on and off since last year. Because of past month's humid weather, this toner has been so pleasant and refreshing to use!
Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Moroccan Beauty Oil
Another beautiful product from Andalou Naturals. It's as close as I'm gonna get to a legit rose facial oil within my budget. Those are so expensive by the way! This is affordable at less that Php1000 and it works so well. I generally just press a bit of this around my eyes, my lashes and eyebrows, corners of my nose and mouth. I don't use it on my entire face. This nourishing oil was formulated specifically for sensitive skin and has yet to cause any irritation for me. If you want to learn more on why this is so great, please read my review!
Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel 2017
hands down, the best sunscreen I've tried so far this year. I have a review comparing it to its predecessor. Spoiler alert! This one wins! It's not alcohol-y but still feels satin smooth on the skin. I use this for face and body too. The best thing about this sunscreen is that it works so well under makeup and because it's now formulated to be water and sweat resistant, it really is the best to use in the humid weather I keep telling you about!
. . .
So sorry this wasn't such an exciting Favorites posts. The Empties post yesterday looks way more inspiring, to be honest. Hopefully, I can get my hands on some new skincare this July. I'm not very adventurous skincare-wise. I've had my own semi-horror story before and I've learned a lot from that. Anyway, the main reason I got into skincare is to take care of my skin. How about you? Maybe your Skincare Favorites are more exciting than mine!
Have a great July ahead!
